The Imus Ranch Foundation was formed to donate 100% of all donations previously devoted to The Imus Ranch for Kids with Cancer to various other charities whose work and missions compliment those of the ranch. The initial donation from The Imus Ranch Foundation was awarded to Tackle Kids Cancer, a program of The HackensackUMC Foundation and the New York Giants.

Don Imus Leaves a Trail of Way More Than Dust
By Michael Riedel - The one and only time I had a twinge of nerves before appearing on television was when I made my debut in 2011 on “Imus in the Morning” on the Fox Business Channel. I’d been listening to Don Imus, who died Friday at 79, since the 1990s as an antidote the serious (bordering on the pompous) hosts on National Public Radio. I always thought it would be fun to join Imus and his gang — news anchor Charles McCord, producer Bernard McGuirk, comedian Rob Bartlett — in the studio, flinging insults back and forth at one another. And now I had my chance. I was invited on to discuss to discuss “Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark,” the catastrophic Broadway musical that injured cast members daily.
Though he works with them every single day and has known them for years, Imus kicked off today’s Ebony & Ivory segment by asking participants Rob Bartlett and Tony Powell where they stand on issues ranging from abortion and the death penalty to which Imus in the Morning business news anchor they prefer. Heady stuff.
Ebony & Ivory It was unfair, and perhaps inhumane, that Imogen Lloyd Imogen’s first ever appearance on Imus in the Morning would be preceded by Imus insisting he was not angry about the music Lou had played out of commercial, despite hollering about it. He just looked angry.
It seemed insane to Imus that anybody would sail the dangerous waters of the Indian Ocean of their own volition. But that’s exactly what four American were doing last week, for fun, when Somali pirates hijacked their yacht. Though the U.S. government attempted to save them, the Americans were killed during an altercation yesterday between the hijackers and U.S. forces.
When the story of the 33 Chilean miners trapped underground broke last summer, it resonated with Imus, and not just because the stranded men requested drugs and blow-up dolls to be sent down while they awaited rescue.
Today was the first time Imus and Major Garrett, a reporter for National Journal, met in person. What better opportunity, then, to put Garrett on the spot, months after the fact, about why he really left his gig at Fox News?
