Douglas Brinkley

Douglas Brinkley is an American author, professor of history at Rice University and a fellow at the James Baker Institute for Public Policy. Brinkley is the history commentator for CNN News and a contributing editor to the magazines Vanity Fair and American Heritage.  A public spokesperson on conservation issues, Brinkley serves as an editor at Audubon Magazine. He joined the faculty of Rice University as a professor of history in 2007.

Connell McShane

Connell McShane is a news correspondent for FOX Business Network and news reader on Imus In The Morning radio program.

 

Prior to joining FBN, McShane worked at Bloomberg Television where he served as a news reporter and an anchor on "Evening Edition," "On the Markets" and "Marketweek." He also broadcasted live reports from both the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and NASDAQ. Before Bloomberg Television, McShane co-anchored the syndicated morning show "The First Word" on Bloomberg Radio. McShane began his career in sports broadcasting. He served as the play-by-play voice of minor league baseball’s Pittsfield Mets during the 1998 season.

 

A graduate of Fordham University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies, McShane was named a finalist in both the New York Metro Achievement in Radio Awards and the New York State Associated Press Broadcasters' Association.

Julie Roginsky Talks Hillary, Sanders

Democratic Strategist Julie Roginsky said Hillary’s firewall is minority voters, so if they continue to support her, she will do well in South Carolina and Nevada. Ultimately, Julie believes Hillary will be the democratic nominee.

Julie Roginsky has extensive experience in government, politics and public relations on both the federal and state levels. She is the president of Comprehensive Communications Group, a public relations and crisis communications firm that counts Fortune 500 corporations, elected officials and non-profit organizations among its clients. 

Julie has served as a senior political strategist for Senator Frank Lautenberg and Congressmen Frank Pallone, Jr., Albio Sires and Steve Rothman, among others. She was previously the Capitol Hill communications director for Senator Jon Corzine.

She sits on the Board of the Women's Campaign School at Yale University, a non-partisan leadership program designed to increase the number of women in elected and appointed office around the globe. She is also a contributor at the Fox News Channel and was previously a contributor at CNBC, the financial news channel.

Julie is a graduate of Boston University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and her Master of Arts degree specializing in Russian economics.

Paul Steinhauser on New Hampshire Primary

Paul Steinhauser is Political Director and Anchor for NH1. He was also a crucial contributor to CNN's 2010 and 2012 Webby Awards honoring the CNN Political Ticker as the best political blog. Paul is a graduate of Boston University's College of Communications. Even though Paul was based in the nation's capital, New Hampshire's been his second home for over a decade, as his wife Lesley is a Granite State native. They are the proud parents of two little girls.
