Tara Maller

Connell McShane

Connell McShane is a news correspondent for FOX Business Network and news reader on Imus In The Morning radio program.

 

Prior to joining FBN, McShane worked at Bloomberg Television where he served as a news reporter and an anchor on "Evening Edition," "On the Markets" and "Marketweek." He also broadcasted live reports from both the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and NASDAQ. Before Bloomberg Television, McShane co-anchored the syndicated morning show "The First Word" on Bloomberg Radio. McShane began his career in sports broadcasting. He served as the play-by-play voice of minor league baseball’s Pittsfield Mets during the 1998 season.

 

A graduate of Fordham University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies, McShane was named a finalist in both the New York Metro Achievement in Radio Awards and the New York State Associated Press Broadcasters' Association.

Democratic Campaign Consultant Doug Schoen

Douglas Schoen has been one of the most influential Democratic campaign consultants for over thirty years. A founding partner and principle strategist for Penn, Schoen & Berland, he is widely recognized as one of the co-inventors of overnight polling. Schoen was named Pollster of the Year in 1996 by the American Association of Political Consultants for his contributions to the President Bill Clinton reelection campaign. His political clients include New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Indiana Governor Evan Bayh, and his corporate clients include AOL Time Warner, Procter & Gamble and AT&T. Internationally, he has worked for the heads of states of over 15 countries, including British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, and three Israeli Prime Ministers. He is the author of multiple books, most recently publishing, The Power of the Vote: Electing Presidents, Overthrowing Dictators, and Promoting Democracy Around the World in 2007, Declaring Independence: The Beginning of the End of the Two-Party System in 2008, The Threat Closer to Home: Hugo Chavez and the War Against America and What Makes You Tick? How Successful People Do It – and What You can Learn from Them in 2009, and The Political Fix: Changing the Game of American Democracy, from the Grassroots to the White House in 2010. He is a regular contributor to the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post and various other newspaper and online publications. He is also a Fox News Contributor, making appearances on various news programs several times a week. Schoen graduated magna cum laude from Harvard, and holds a degree from Harvard Law School as well as a doctorate in philosophy from Oxford University. He has lectured at the Institute of Politics at Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government, the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, and the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. 

President Obama’s Advisor Robert Wolf

Robert Wolf is Founder and CEO or 32 Advisors, a boutique consulting and advisory firm serving public and private companies, hedge funds, private equity firms, money managers, governments and other institutions. Wolf previously served as Chairman for UBS Americas and President for UBS Investment Bank. While at UBS, Robert held several senior positions including Group Regional CEO, COO of UBS Investment Bank, Global Head of Fixed Income and Chair of the firm’s Diversity and Community Affairs Committee. He joined UBS in 1994 after spending approximately 10 years at Salomon Brothers.

In addition to these roles and his position on the Jobs Council, Robert was previously on the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board chaired by former Federal Reserve Chair Paul Volcker, from 2009-2011. He is on the Undergraduate Executive Board of the Wharton School and on the Athletics Board of Overseers at the University of Pennsylvania. Robert sits on the Board for the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights as well as on the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation where he was honored with Lance Armstrong for his work on cancer awareness. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and on the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy and was on the Board of Directors of the Financial Services Roundtable from 2007-2010. Robert also serves on the boards of a number of non-profit institutions including the Children's Aid Society and the Partnership for NYC.

Robert graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics in 1984. He is married with 2 children and currently resides in Purchase, New York.
