I keep reading all the beautiful condolences that people are writing about how much a part of their lives were effected by listening to him over the years.
The Imus Ranch Foundation was formed to donate 100% of all donations previously devoted to The Imus Ranch for Kids with Cancer to various other charities whose work and missions compliment those of the ranch. The initial donation from The Imus Ranch Foundation was awarded to Tackle Kids Cancer, a program of The HackensackUMC Foundation and the New York Giants.

Don Imus Leaves a Trail of Way More Than Dust
By Michael Riedel - The one and only time I had a twinge of nerves before appearing on television was when I made my debut in 2011 on “Imus in the Morning” on the Fox Business Channel. I’d been listening to Don Imus, who died Friday at 79, since the 1990s as an antidote the serious (bordering on the pompous) hosts on National Public Radio. I always thought it would be fun to join Imus and his gang — news anchor Charles McCord, producer Bernard McGuirk, comedian Rob Bartlett — in the studio, flinging insults back and forth at one another. And now I had my chance. I was invited on to discuss to discuss “Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark,” the catastrophic Broadway musical that injured cast members daily.
After Bo Dietl went off on a rant this morning about Bryant Gumble and Mommar Gaddafi, the I-Man finally calmed him down and asked him about more pertinent topics such as baby Lisa and whether the police should evict the protesters in Zuccotti Park.
Bo Dietl Chris Wallace couldn’t confirm the reports of Gaddafi’s death this morning; however, if true, he believes it will create greater stability in the Middle East and send a message to other thugs like Assad in Syria that this could happen to them.
Chris Wallace On the first edition of Doctor Doctor, Deirdre Imus and pediatrician Dr. Lawrence Rosen tacked childhood obesity, which affects 1 in 3 kids in the US. Dr. Rosen says parents need to cook more meals at home and encourage 30 minutes of exercise a day.
Paul Begala said that Mitt Romney is a great debater, but made a critical error by saying “Hey, I can’t hire illegal aliens because I’m running for office.” He also said Herman Cain is not ready to be president, but at least he has a sense of humor!
Paul Begala Eli Saslow told the I-Man about 20,000 letters are sent to the president each day, of which he reads 10 and answers 1 or 2. Obama says that reading the letters allow him to listen to the American public, but many of them reflect his powerlessness.
